New engine oils for trucks
Professional 1040 E9 and 1540 E9 are the names of two new engine oils made by ADDINOL. The SHPD engine oils outperform the requirements of ACEA standard E9/E7 and API standard CJ-4. The expert for high-performance lubricants has developed these oils especially for the use in heavy loaded turbo diesel engines as applied in heavy commercial vehicles as well as machines in agriculture and construction industry.
The new engine oils are said to meet the superior demands of the Euro-4- and the sensitive Euro-5-exhaust emission standard. According to ADDINOL they reduce exhaust and particle emissions caused by the lubricant meaning a prolongation of the lifetime of exhaust treatment (DPF, SCR) and exhaust gas return systems (EGR).
In accordance with ACEA E9 Professional 1040 E9 and 1540 E9 possess Mid-SAPS characteristics (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus, Sulphur). This means, in contrast to Low-SAPS products they can display a higher content of ash-forming substances.
The new ADDINOL oils are available in SAE grades 10W-40 and 15W-40 and meet the requirements according to MB 228.31, MAN M 3575, Volvo VDS-4 (incl. VDS-3, VDS-2, VDS), MTU Oil category 2.1, Renault RLD-3, Deutz DQC III-05, Caterpillar ECF-3, ECF-2, ECF-1-a, Mack EO-O Premium Plus, Cummins CES 20081 and Detroit Diesel DDC 93K218.
