In industry (for instance steel or paper industry) closed gears with bevel or spur gearing and circulating systems usually operate under heavy loads and extreme conditions. Typical applications often are characterised by high temperatures or the impact of foreign material.

For these special applications we have developed the gear oil series ADDINOL Gear Oil 150 F to 460 F which completes our range of high-performance gear oils.

Excellent scuffing load capacity and micro-pitting resistance, superior wear behaviour and reliable protection against corrosion ensure optimum performance and long lifetimes for gears and machines. Long oil change intervals are achieved because of the lubricants' high ageing stability. Due to the additivation free of ash and zinc the circulating system remains clean and without deposits, also at high thermal loads.

ADDINOL Gear Oil F in viscosity grades ISO VG 150 to ISO VG 460 is ideal for:
- nearly all types of closed industrial gears with bevel or spur gearing
- heavy loaded sliding and roller bearings
- joints and guide systems under high loads
- circulation and immersion lubrication
- ecologically sensitive areas.

The oils outperform the requirements of the German industry standard DIN 51517 part 3 and meet the demands of ISO 12925/1 and AGMA 9005-E02. They are approved for the use on bevel, spur and planetary gears of the company SIEMENS / FLENDER.

The gear oil series ADDINOL Gear Oil F is highly compatible with elastomers and varnishes. It displays an extremely low foaming tendency and therefore is very fit for the use in applications exposed to contaminants or foreign materials or for gear constructions causing splashing effects. The gear oil series Gear Oil F replaces the ADDINOL CLP S range.
