High-performance grease with new formula against wear

The lubricant manufacturer ADDINOL has developed a high-performance grease for long-term lubrication containing their substance combination Surftec. Eco Grease PD 2 is suited for the lifetime lubrication of roller bearings and all sliding pairings prone to wear. According to the manufacturer it provides safe and reliable lubrication even under extreme conditions, as for instance strong vibrations, impact loads, high and changing pressures as well as strongly varying temperatures. With these characteristics the grease is ideal for generator bearings in wind turbines and gear engines under impact loads. Pre-damaged surfaces are smoothened. The low friction coefficient leads to low thermal loads on all bearing components and thus contributes to energy saving and long lifetimes of friction pairings. Optimum application temperature is between -35 and +140 °C. The grease prevents corrosion, can be pumped by central lubrication systems and is compatible with conventional sealing materials.
